Iason Studios is a gem for history enthusiasts, like myself, with its prime location near some of Chania's most notable landmarks. The proximity to the Nautical Museum of Crete, Firkas Fortress, and the Venetian Lighthouse is fantastic.
I love being able to stroll a mere 1.31 km to the Nautical Museum of Crete, which showcases the island's maritime history and offers a fascinating collection of nautical artifacts. After that, I wander over to the Firkas Fortress, which not only boasts stunning architecture but also has a rich history dating back to the Venetian era. It's thrilling to imagine the fortress's role in protecting the town and its harbor, and the scenic views from the top are a real treat.
The hotel's surroundings offer a myriad of attractions at a stone's throw away. Municipal Market of Chania, Minoan's World, Etz Hayyim Synagogue, and the Archaeological Museum of Chania—all are within similar distances, making it an ideal base for travelers who want to explore the city's historical and cultural heritage. And when I need some quiet time, I can easily escape to the peaceful Roman Catholic Church located just 0.33 km from the hotel.
